Hannover, March 03, 2009 - People that suffer from an irregular heartbeat can now use the Tele-ECG-Card 100 IR to try to discover the cause of the problem. During TeleHealth at CeBIT 2009, Vitaphone GmbH will be unveiling a bank card-sized device that, at the touch of a button, can register and record up to three ECGs during a day.
Using a cellphone or landline phone, the data is sent to a service center where it is assessed or passed on to the appropriate medical staff.
Vitaphone will also be using CeBIT 2009 to present a Telemedical Service Center and demonstrate how telemonitoring operates from the time an ECG is received to diagnosis and emergency management.
